The Apple iSharpener - make your no.2 pencil thinner than a no.2 pencil!

Now I thought that you couldn't get anything better than a electric pencil sharpener in your class (which I've never had!). Well I was wrong! The only problem being that the pencils in my class would probably only last 2 weeks until they become smaller than a child's little finger!(Rather than the normal 4 weeks!) :-)
Blacknimbus @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
Odd...if they were trying to tie into something Mac related, then it should have been Firewire powered.
Oh, that's right. Firewire is dead...nvm...
kittydog @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
ok, at this rate folks, all we need is a usb operating coffee/tea pot and a pizza warmer .
norebonomis @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
if i saw someone whip this out and plug it into their powerbook to sharpen a pencil... i think i might die laughing.
Dull @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
You know, I might find this intriguing, if I knew what a pencil was.
Andy @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
No, no, that's iSharpener, not eyeSharpener.
shoelover @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
Am I missing something? Is this instead of batteries or heaven forbid, a manual sharpener (ya cuz I would rather lug around this do-dad than a little metal sharpener)? Have accessories gone from the sublime (an iPod for example) to the ridiculous (a USB powered pencil sharpener).
Only in japan folks, only in japan...........
Jonny @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
You know, This is funny...in fact this is beyond funny. The only problem is that some one has a USB powered fake fish bowl, mouse pad, coffee cup holder, led light, some other piece of USB junk that lights up, and then of course this, not to forget the USB Mice, Printers, Scanners, moniters, and keyboards. So how come these companies come out with something useful so we dont have to keep switching out devices...like the USB powered 45 port USB multi hub tower!!!! lol :)
Shaun @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
ahahahaahah i remember speculating about this coming up after reading some old post here about a USB shaver powered. Let be the exsitence of USB powered air ionisers, warmers, fans & lights. Finally! its here! hahaaha
For the record, i say a USB powered vacumm for keyboards, electric scissors, toothbrush, laminator & finger massager will come soon...
karmaghost @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
People still use pencils you need to sharpen?
bliz @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
There is already a USB powered vacuum for keyboards:

I think this is great, I can wait for the day that everything I have can be powered from USB. That or have Blinking LEDs... One or the other.
Benj @ Dec 19th 2005 12:20AM
This is pointless. I wont spend big bucks just for a pencil sharpener.
