Samsung shows off largest LCD screen at 82 inches
Besides trotting out their world's largest plasma screen again at 102
inches, Samsung is unveiling at this year's CES the world's largest LCD screen, coming in at 82 inches of liquid
crystal lovin'. Picture quality is all that and a bucket of chicken (yes, that is the proper technical terminology).

The world's largest LCD is being pimped by a ratty, torn up sign? Jeeze Samsung, go buy a proper sign for $30.
Oh yeah, and I'll take 2 please.

I guess they spent all their money on the LCD. It looks like the sign above and the backdrop are made of cardboard!

It must be a fake! If it were really Samsung it would have at least two gorgeous Korean women draped over it.

What is the resolution on this beauty? Does it have 59 stuck pixels?

Big deal.. not like they'll get near Panasonic or Pioneer grade especially with that crappy DNIe so-call enhancing feature of theirs.

#6.. that's for the plasma. The LCD might be OK if its better than current generation of Samsung LCD. However, they made the newer Sony XBR Bravia LCD and is pretty good. Funny, how they make half descent OEM stuff for others and get stupid ratings for their own.

Who says bigger is better ? New houses are gonna be smaller.
